Pop Goes The News — Production of The Maze Runner: The Death Cure will begin early next year in Vancouver.
The movie is based on the third book in the dystopian trilogy by James Dashner and follows 2014’s The Maze Runner and this year’s The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.
Pop Goes The News — Cameras will roll in B.C. later this year on the third movie in the rebooted Planet of the Apes franchise.
War of the Planet of the Apes follows last year’s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and 2011’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Those two films — which were partly made in B.C. — grossed a combined $1.2 billion worldwide.
