Kevin Hart returning to Just For Laughs

Pop Goes The News – Kevin Hart is returning to Just For Laughs to debut a series of conversations titled Hart to Heart.

The comedian, who is shooting a movie in Montreal this summer, will sit down with JFL guests Trevor Noah, Howie Mandel and others at Monument National.

Hart is in Montreal until mid-August starring in Fatherhood, the adaptation of Matt Logelin’s 2011 bestseller Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss & Love. Directed by Paul Weitz (American Pie, About a Boy), it is about a man who is left to raise his daughter after his wife dies of a pulmonary embolism a day after the baby is born.

Hart has become a fixture at JFL. In 2015, he recalled that his career “literally started here at this festival.”

He said: “I’m able to do what I’m doing because you guys put me in position to win. Just For Laughs, I am a friend forever. I will always come back because I don’t forget.”
