Cameras are scheduled to roll from June 24 to Oct. 25, with production based out of Pinewood Toronto Studios.
Based on the comic series by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely, Jupiter’s Legacy – shooting under the title Zeus – is about the world’s first generation of superheroes and their children.

Mike Wade is set to star as Fitz Small, aka The Flare, an important member of The Union.
Jupiter’s Landing isn’t the only sci-fi/fantasy series to be made in Toronto this summer. Season 2 of Titans is set for production from April 2 to Sept. 20 and Season 3 of Star Trek Discovery begins soon.
Comic book series The Umbrella Academy, currently streaming on Netflix, was shot in Toronto but a decision on whether there will be a second season has not yet been announced.
