UPDATED: Kim Cattrall mourns death of her brother

UPDATE: On Sunday afternoon, Kim Cattrall tweeted: “It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall. At this time we ask for privacy. We want to thank you all on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time.

Pop Goes The News – Actress Kim Cattrall is asking for the public’s help to find her younger brother.

According to the Sensitive Skin and Sex and the City star, Christopher Cattrall has been missing since Jan. 30. His keys, cell phone and wallet were left behind at his home in Lacombe, Alberta, about 30 minutes north of Red Deer.

“This is not like Chris. He would never leave his unlocked home without those items nor his 7 beloved dogs,” Kim wrote in an Instagram post.

“He’s a one of a kind brother. Help us bring him home safe. Please spread the world.”

Christopher is 55 years old, 6 ft. tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has short brown hair, a goatee and blue eyes. He could be wearing a waist-length hooded winter coat with black gloves, blue jeans and black winter boots.

“We are so worried for his safety,” his famous sister tweeted.

Christopher has two other sisters, Cherry and Lisa.

The Cattrall siblings lost their father Dennis on Feb. 2, 2012.

According to social media posts, Christopher married Morgan Xavier and became stepdad to her children Karl and Katie.
