Toronto-shot Suicide Squad and made-in-Vancouver Deadpool are in the running for Favourite Movie against Captain America: Civil War, Finding Dory and Zootopia.

In the Action Movie category, Suicide Squad and Deadpool are joined by Montreal-shot X-Men: Apocalypse as well as Captain America: Civil War and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Toronto-raised Kiefer Sutherland is a contender in the Favourite Actor in a New TV Series category, for the made-in-Toronto Designated Survivor. The show is up for New TV Drama against, among others, Vancouver-made Frequency.

Four of the five nominees for Network Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show are made in Vancouver: Arrow, The Flash, Supernatural and Once Upon a Time. Other B.C.-shot shows with nominations are Bates Motel (Cable TV Drama) and Lucifer (TV Crime Drama).

Toronto-shot Orphan Black and Shadowhunters are in the running for Cable Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show.

Arrow’s Toronto-born star Stephen Amell is nominated for Favourite Social Media Celebrity.
