Pop Goes The News — James Franco, Dennis Quaid, Zoë Kravitz, and Jack Reynor will be in Toronto this fall to make the sci-fi thriller Kin.
Production is scheduled to get underway near the end of October with directors Jonathan and Josh Baker. The movie is based on their short film Bag Man (watch it below) and written by Daniel Casey.
Kin follows an ex-con (Reynor) and his adopted brother as they and a friend (Kravitz) run from a criminal (Franco), federal agents and fighters from another planet. Their only defence is a mysterious weapon they found.
