Pop Goes The News — Near, far, Celine Dion believes the hot meat goes on.
The Canadian chanteuse surprised customers at Montreal’s famous Schwartz’s Deli on Tuesday.
Dion, 48, looked casual in a pink blouse with distressed jeans and pink shoes as she emerged from an SUV to the delight of those lined-up outside the popular restaurant.
The singer and her late husband became part owners of Schwartz’s in 2012 along with her nephews Eric Sara and Martin Sara as well as Paul Nakis.
Dion just finished a string of concerts at Montreal’s Bell Centre and has shows in Quebec City and Trois-Rivieres this month before returning to her Las Vegas stage on Sept. 20.
Schwartz’s has been serving smoked meat in Montreal since 1928.
Dion’s visit to the deli included posing for pictures with employees, signing autographs, and giving away meals.
The superstar quickly lit up of social media.
