See the pics Kit Harington didn’t want fans to see

Pop Goes The News — Here are the photos Game of Thrones star Kit Harington didn’t want his fans to see.

During breaks from filming scenes for The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, the English actor stood outside a Montreal office building to smoke.

Crew members went to bizarre lengths to try to shield Harington from cameras.

As you can see from the images here, their extraordinary efforts were wasted.

More than halfway through a day of filming, crew members moved a big truck in front of the door to the building to block views of Harington exiting. They also set up a black tent and shielded the star using black umbrellas as he crossed the sidewalk.

During one break in filming, Harington — who was having a coffee and a cigarette — covered his head with a hoodie.

Photographing any person on a public street — where they have no reasonable expectation of privacy — is legal in Canada.

Harington, 29, has the lead role in The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, which shoots in Montreal until the end of August.

But the unusual measures crew members took to prevent Harington from being photographed were seen by onlookers as a little over the top given that the actor is really only well known for playing Jon Snow on Game of Thrones.

The last two movies he made in Canada — Silent Hill: Revelation and Pompeii — were box office flops.

Many celebrities do not like to be pictured smoking.
