Pop Goes The News — Canadian singer Matt Dusk became a first-time dad early Wednesday.
The 37-year-old and his longtime partner Julita Borko shared the happy news on Facebook.
“Holy crap! It’s a girl,” Dusk captioned a photo of the new parents with their bundle of joy.
The couple did not immediately share their daughter’s name.
Dusk announced in December that he and Borko were expecting.
Dusk has recorded a number of albums, including Two Shots, Good News and My Funny Valentine: The Chet Baker Songbook.
The Juno-nominated vocalist appeared on the 2004 Fox reality show The Casino and contributed music to the Canadian series Call Me Fitz.
Dusk performs live concerts regularly in Canada and around the world.
