Cary Elwes at work on season 2 of ‘The Art of More’

Pop Goes The News — When English actor Cary Elwes needs to shoot a scene set in Paris for his American series, he does it in Canada, of course.

The handsome 53-year-old star was in Old Montreal on Monday to appear in a scene for The Art of More, which streams on Crackle.

Production of 10 new episodes for season 2 of the show, which is set in the competitive world of New York City auction houses, just got underway.

Elwes co-stars with Christian Cooke, Kate Bosworth and Dennis Quaid.

The London-born star of films like The Princess Bride and Twister plays aristocratic Arthur Davenport, a wealthy art collector.

Monday’s scene involved Elwes exiting an art gallery and avoiding a group of young schoolgirls while trying to take a phone call.

It was shot on St. Paul Street, which has doubled for Paris many times, including in the films The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Smurfs 2 and The Walk.
