Toronto’s major media outlets have proven once again that when you want to be one of the first to know, you’ve got to click on Pop Goes The News!

On April 21 — the day rock icon Prince died — Pop Goes The News reported that the Toronto mansion he once owned was on the market for $12.8 million.

The next day, CityNews posted what was already old news to Pop Goes The News readers.

The Toronto Star followed with a report of its own on April 24.

Then, on April 25 — a whopping four days after Pop Goes The News — outlets like BlogTo, CTV News, Toronto Sun, Huffington Post, and Global News posted their versions.

It’s only the latest example of media following Pop Goes The News.
