Pop Goes The News — Actress Lea Michele is paying tribute to her late boyfriend, Canada’s Cory Monteith, in a permanent way.

The Scream Queens star revealed on social media Tuesday that she had the number “5” tattooed on her body.

“For my quarterback,” Michele said of the tattoo, which is located on her side. Monteith’s character Finn Hudson wore the number “5” on his football jersey on Glee.

Michele played Rachel Berry on the Fox series, which ended its run in 2015.

Michele was in a relationship with Monteith at the time of his death in a Vancouver hotel room in July 2013. The B.C. native died of a toxic overdose of heroin and alcohol. He was 31.

On Instagram, fans expressed their approval for the ink. “I miss him so much,” commented one.  “What a lovely gift.”

“This made me cry,” another shared.
