Pop Goes The News — Former Saturday Night Live star Victoria Jackson criticized the “liberal media” this week for not reporting on her cancer diagnosis.

But Jackson misspoke when she told conservative podcaster Rusty Humphries that “nobody picked up the story.” Pop Goes The News reported on Jackson’s cancer revelation on Nov. 30, 2015.

“The liberal press, they torture me for everything I say and everything I do,” Jackson told Humphries.

“But then I have cancer and there’s not a peep. I think it’s because it’s so sad they don’t know how to make fun of it.”

Jackson, 56, said she is undergoing chemotherapy and has made changes to her diet since undergoing a double mastectomy.

“I love not having huge breasts,” Jackson said. “I feel so much younger.”
