Pop Goes The News — Canada’s CIBC is cashing in on Star Wars: The Force Awakens by selling collector coins from the New Zealand Mint.

One of the 1 oz. pure silver coins depicts Han Solo (Harrison Ford) frozen in carbonite from 1980’s Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and another features a full colour image of Rey (Daisy Ridley) from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Other coins in the collection show Darth Vader from 1977’s Star Wars: A New Hope and new characters Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma.

The coins, which have a $2 denomination, are available for $119.99 each. They can be ordered at CIBC branches — with delivery in up to five business days — or online.

CIBC says only 1,500 coins per character are being made available in Canada.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theatres on Dec. 18.
