Pop Goes The News — Actor Ian McShane has revealed a little bit about the character he plays in the upcoming sixth season of Game of Thrones.
“I’ll give you one hint,” McShane told Pop Goes The News on Thursday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
“I am responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you’re never going to see again. I’ll leave it at that.”
The 73-year-old English star’s teaser certainly adds fuel to speculation that Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) will be back. In the Season 5 finale, viewers were left to believe Snow was killed by members of the Night’s Watch.
Or maybe The Hound (Rory McCann) will be back?

Secrecy around McShane’s role has sparked much speculation among Game of Thrones fans.
Watchers on the Wall reported McShane is “not Randyll Tarly or Aeron Greyjoy.”
Entertainment Weekly said its sources said McShane has a “relatively small amount” of screen-time in the new season but his character is of “key importance.”
McShane, who is promoting The Hollow Point at the Los Cabos International Film Festival, seemed to back that up.
“[It’s] a one-off episode,” he said of his Game of Thrones gig. “That’s why I did it.
“But I can’t reveal anything, otherwise I’ll never work again.”
