Pop Goes The News — Canadian actor Jean-Luc Bilodeau, one of the stars of the TV series Baby Daddy, suffered burns to his arms and legs Saturday.
The 24-year-old Vancouver native was wearing an alpaca costume at a Halloween party at the home of co-star Tahj Mowry when he backed into a Tiki torch.
According to a statement from his rep, Bilodeau is expected to make a full recovery.
“While this accident is extremely unfortunate, it serves as a reminder that Halloween costumes and Halloween makeup can be extremely dangerous and flammable,” read the statement.
“Please exercise precautions this season and be mindful of what you are putting on your body and face.”
Production of Baby Daddy, which airs in Canada on ABC Spark, is being “rearranged to accommodate” Bilodeau, the network said in a statement.
The fifth season of the comedy series premieres in February.
Bilodeau, who previously starred in the Vancouver-shot series Kyle XY, has also appeared in 2012’s Piranha 3DD.
