Pop Goes The News — Canadian actor Kevin Zegers and his wife Jaime Feld welcomed twin girls Zoe Madison and Blake Everleigh.
The 30-year-old native of Woodstock, Ont., shared the happy news Thursday night on Twitter.
“I’ve never been more in love than I am with the gift my beautiful wife just gave me,” Zegers tweeted.
He and Feld, a talent agent, became first-time parents a little more than two years after tying the knot in New Jersey. The couple, who live in Los Angeles, were engaged in the summer of 2012 in the Muskoka region north of Toronto.
Zegers starred in several Air Bud movies early in his career and appeared in films like Wrong Turn, Dawn of the Dead, The Colony and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
On the small screen, Zegers’ credits include Gossip Girl and Gracepoint.
He is the only Canadian-born actor to win the Trophée Chopard at the Cannes Film Festival. He was honoured following his role as a troubled bisexual hustler in 2005’s Transamerica.
