Pop Goes The News — Jennifer Lawrence, who is in Montreal shooting X-Men: Apocalypse, stopped by the city’s Shriners Hospital for Children on Friday.

“A very special visitor came by to see some of our patients,” reads a message on the hospital’s Facebook page.

Lawrence, 24, spent time meeting kids, posing for pictures — and even signed a boy’s arm cast.

Lawrence is reprising her role as Raven/Mystique in the new X-Men movie, which is scheduled to wrap in early September and open in cinemas in May 2016.

In 2013, while filming X-Men: Days of Future Past in Montreal, Hugh Jackman donated $10,000 to Montreal Children’s Hospital.
